Selfishness. Add it to the list of "dirty words" associated with marriage. In my opinion, there are two different kinds of selfishness, and the one I have learned to practice in our marriage is the good kind. I don't think the importance of selfishness and self-care are talked about enough when two people are headed into this life-long commitment.
